Forum: web Subject: Re: Wayback error: Why page waybacked for day that hasn't happened and will never happen?

Yes, I have just encountered this problem too. Today is December 12, 2013, and the Wayback Machine is claiming it has a page archived from 4 days in the future.

In this case, I'm seeing that
shows a latest wayback dated "Dec 16, 2013 23:55:00", which has not happened yet (4 days in the future). See screenshot attached.

The URL for the strange wayback is
as can be seen in the screenshot in the browser status line at the bottom.

There is also wayback for May 22, 2013 15:10:47, and its URL is
This URL makes sense. It looks like it's for the 2013th year, 5th month, 22nd day, 15th hour, 10th minute, and 47th second, as expected.

However, the /20131716255500/ in the "Dec 16, 2013 23:55:00" URL looks like the 17th month, 16th day, 25th hour, 55th minute. That doesn't make sense.

It seems like something is wrong. I really appreciate all the hard work of the archive.org people, and hope this problem can be fixed.

(Like EarthFurst said, if there is a better place to let archive.org know about this sort of problem, I'd appreciate knowing about it.)
